Help Me Identify this red wire.
1989 4.0 auto
So I was doing some snooping under the hood and found this lone red wire with a plug that is unplugged and busted....couldn't find any spots where it goes.

Its that the windshield washer bottle or the coolant pressure bottle? Trying to figure out where in the engine bay that is.
Nm, I just saw the second picture it is the coolant pressure bottle. That should be for the under hood light. My 90 xj had a black and red wire coming out of it.
