Can somebody please help me identify what this grey canister is? its located next to the washer fluid reservoir and the top of it has broken off. There are 2 air hoses coming from it one is rubber and one is a skinny plastic hose. My jeep is stalling and is hard to start unless i hold the gas down.

 

I think it's the Vapor canister.



Which is emissions, so you'd have trouble running/stalling.

 

Looks like the Evap canister to me. Not sure if its the root of your problem, but it could be.

 

All the vacuum lines are broken and air is getting in everywhere. Im pretty sure its the problem...

 

Yes, you'll have all kinds of vacuum issues with the tubes broken.

You may have to hit the junkyard to find a replacement for it.
