I continue to prep my interior for bedlining and I'm finding all kinds of things.

I was wondering if any of you gurus know what they are for.

1. This is an unused wiring harness that was under the carpet/center console. Anyone know what it's for?


2. These three bolts are found under my drivers seat, with nothing attached. Anyone? I'm going to cut them off anyway, probably, since they appear to be useless.


3. Wire going underneath the Jeep. haven't cared enough to trace it underneath yet, but wondering if someone could identify it here.
4. These two metal plates are on the edge of either side of the cargo area. I removed them, and there is nothing under them. What's the point?

1) abs module harness
2) original airbag module location ( moved via vehicle recall)
3) fuel pump/fuel level harness

 

Thanks! I got really lucky. There is some tarry undercoating on some areas underneath my Jeep, but my rocker is mostly rusted out Also light surface rust on the front of the floorpans. All easy to fix (except the rocker but I'm working on that)

Interesting stuff! Any more info on the recall? I'll probably cut that whole plate out. I figured 3 had to do with the fuel pump.

The recall was to move the module from under the seat where it was susceptible to water damage.
