Okay..so this is my first post after reading forever.

I was changing the lifts/shocks on my lift gate and did what it said in another thread on this board by loosening the 13mm hinge bolts some to fit new shock in place. I left gate open and had to go inside. My buddy came over, saw it open and closed gate. (Forced it from what I can tell) He said it popped and now it won't close correctly, but it's down (left hinge screws are loose), and if I try to open it..the top of gate is hitting the roof and it won't open with out forcing it and probably bending top of the gate.

Any suggestions?

 

Had a buddy and his son come over and they were able to push down while I guided the gate and we got it open and then tightened.

Sheesh..what an ordeal!
