Default Help jeep starts but stalls right away

My 91 jeep cherokee limited starts but stalls right away. It started doing this after the battery was unpluged. I think its the factory alarm, I've tried licking unlock passenger door and lift gage but it still does the same thing. Does anyone know what's wrong with it or does anyone know how to bypass the factory alarm.

I found this, hope it helps:

"Ok, I fixed the problem with my jeep and reset the alarm. For anyone else who encounters this problem:
1 Disconnect the battery for about a minute or two. Reconnect the battery and go through the procedure to reset the alarm (going to the back hatch and turning the key left in the lock, then turning the key in the driver's door)
2 If step one doesn't work, Check the battery itself to make sure it's not dead or doesn't need charging. Also check the battery cables themselves to make sure they aren't bad (this ended up being my problem, as soon as I changed the battery cables, the jeep let me reset the security alarm.)
I hope this helps if your having this problem."

"It stops the lights from blinking..........."

Please try to be clear so I'm able to help you. What stops the blinking?
Dis and reconnected battery and key trick, fully charged or new battery or new battery cables? Tell me exactly what you tried so I don't have to guess.

Check you battery and cables. My first post said this solved the person's problem that sounds just like yours.

When they go bad, the engine will start because that resistor is bypassed when the key is in the full start position, but the resistor is back in circuit when the key is released.

So it starts, but only runs until you back off the key. Sound familiar??

This resistor is to reduce noise in the fuel pump circuit. Try jumpering it. If it works when the wires are jumpered or connected together (eliminating the resistor), then you have smoking gun proof. This only takes about 5 minutes.

If it works that way, you can either leave it jumpered or you can replace it. Later models don't even have this resistor, it is NOT a part that has to be installed.

Let us know what you find, but this resistor is the #1 thing to check.
