Help identify this part where I found a vacuum leak?

Thanks guys. It never sat longer than a couple months. Yes i have visually checked all the vacuum lines and the vacuum ball. Everything looks fine. If there are cracks they must be too small to see.

Now this is new info. I only resorted to the smoke test because i cant find any obvious leaks.

oh! New clue. It is slow to shift when its cold. I read somewhere that this points to something being loose. Hopefully you guys remember what, but i will go search

Blow smoke in at the vacuum ball? Or the other side of the check valve.

I sort of know where a one way valve exists where a vacuum line runs into the metal thingy lol

Probably easier for me to tape it to the tiny tube at the vacuum ball. Thanks i will try it this weekend…
