I'm in the middle of replacing my head and I noticed this dangling near the right side of my engine block. I didn't take it off, it has a mount, and it's super brittle. The hose is coming from under the jeep. Thank you for any help!!!

Front axle breather? fallow it back down.

Thanks, I'm still wet behind the ears when it comes to a lot of this. I've narrowed it down to the TC or AW4 vent. I'll follow it tomorrow and from what I've read, go ahead and extend them up to the firewall.

Cool,,yep fallow it, extend it up the firewall or where ever you like it up high..

That's the Transfer Case vent. It's usually on the right side of the engine by the transmission dipstick, attached to the bell housing.
