Default Help!!! I think my spark plug wire order got mixed up.

I caught my hand on a piece of metal at the bottom of the bay and pulled my arm out quick taking 3 of the wires of my dist cap. Does anyone know the order that the wires need to be in on the distributor cap. I think some how they got mixed up and I don't think all the plugs are firing. Its a 1995 xj 4.0 I6. The gap on my new plugs are also is a little on the wide side(preset gap) because I dont have the spacer to check. Thanks

1,5,3,6,2,4 distributor rotates clockwise and the number 1 wire is at the very bottom of the cap. This is all assuming you have the 4.0L engine.

Something happened??...will try posting this again. #1 cylinder is at the front of the engine. Firing order on a straight 6 is easy to remember...1-5-3-6-2-4...15 is too young, 36 is too old, 24 is just right.
