What do you mean by turn over slowly? I will buy the multimeter and cables. Anything else?

I bought Black Diamond 4/12. She came with a fairly new battery 5/11. Should I have them test the battery or do it myself? I am so mad at myself for blowing $100. Well at least won't have to worry about the alternator for a while-duh!

It's very difficult to diagnose over the internet.

When you turn the key does the engine sound like it normally does?

If it's not the battery it could be 100 different things.

Why don't you make a video of you trying to start the engine and post it here so we can see what's going on.

This new description actually sounds like something I experienced on my Jeep a couple years ago. After checking everything with the power system I moved onto the ignition system. I cleaned out the spark plugs and got the starter bench tested. After finding that everything was ok, I checked the fuel pressure (which my fuel pump was going bad, but wasn't the problem at the time). Turned out I had to replace the crankshaft position sensor (CPS). From what I hear it's a fairly common problem, so keep that in the back of your head. Just know that there is a lot of diagnosis to be done before you get there and its not the easiest thing to replace.

An O2 sensor won't cause it to not start.

What are the odds of that in this situation?

The next thing I would try is the starting procedures for a bad NSS. Take the lever up and down through the gears a couple times, then jiggle it in neutral while trying to start it.

If the engine is spinning over it's not the NSS.

Default Just got back...

...tested the battery and it's good and so is the alternator. What troubleshooting steps do I need to take?
