Dayco, Goodyear and Gates have the "best", they just have a better market, got mine for $12. Dayco and gates will perform just as well if not better. Only difference is GY Gatorback will be a little quieter than a Dayco. And all of them have a 1 year, or longer warranty. Where its as simple as showing the reciept, them handing you a new one and routing it in.
90% of belt squeaks arent from a bad belt, they are from cracked or corroded pulleys that cause cracks, ribs, chips and teeth over time.
The part I bolded, is either the biggest lie I have seen all day, or is the truth and something is very wrong under the hood.
Dont glorify your overpriced belt. Besides Summit sells them for $26 for a cherokee. You can get them from other places for cheaper with free shipping, or we sell them for $17 at my garage.
PS. Every belt is essentially a $20 belt.
