Ok, not too sure how to explain what im experiencing here. But after taking my jeep out of 4wd, it feels like the front hubs are half way stuck in 4wd. When I make a turn at low speed, its as though the front wheels will not turn and the wheels feel like they are hopping. It actually is kind of a fight to get it to turn. In the past when its done this, ive put it in reverse and slammed the gas for 25-30 feet and that seemed to take care of it. But I recently put some bigger tiers on ( 245/75R16 Goodyear MTR's) and im not having any luck. Still seems to be half stuck, and not allowing the front wheels to turn. When in 4wd its ok thou. Im confused as to what the issue might be. Anyone have any suggestions, or experience this them self's?

How do the hubs lock and un lock on this front end would be the bigger question for me?

ok, if they dont actually lock or un lock, how are the front wheels ingaged when placed in 4wd, and vice versa?

Check your transfer case linkage... sounds like you have what I have and I need to adjust mine every few months ( mostly just preventative ). If you linkage is out of adjustment it will hold it in 4x4 for a little then pop it back out. Mine does this when I need to adjust it.
