When the out side temperature hits below zero my jeep begins to act funny , when I first start my jeep and for about fifteen minutes after the voltage gauge reads high and then when I turn the heat on the voltage will drop when I'm idling , also my blower Motor seems to quite every so often help I am stumped on what to do ?

 

Check your alt output at the battery and your alt. also would not hurt to have your alt load tested...

 

x2 .....are you experiencing any other problems?? maybe the headlights or interior lights are dim and brighten when driving..etc...

 

It's a brand new alternator and last winter I was experiencing the same thing and had it checked by a mechanic , they couldn't figure it out. Could it be my my computer ?
