Default HELP!! Drag link into Pitman Arm problems

Hey guys so I have the entire front end of my lift done and the drag link tie rod broke. I replaced it and matched the lengths but I CANNOT get the link back into the drop pitman arm.. The angle seems to much and the bolt goes up crooked and not far enough to get the nut on..

Can I jack up a certain side to make it easier???

Anything to help please..

Lifting the rig changes your steering geometry. You need to lengthen your draglink.

Ok that's what I was thinking but did not want to just wing it all... any specific length? Dumb question- does it matter if it is sitting on the stock tires still now?
