When that torx (star) bolt gets stripped it looks a lot like an Allen key yes? Find you the right size Allen wrench (may require tapping it in to get a nice snug fit in the bolt head) and go to town

Good luck with that one. Not exactly a plentiful bounty of room around there.

I tell you, I was at Lowes yesterday getting flo light fixtures, happened to walk past their power tool section.

If I remember correctly I saw a very nice angle grinder, probably came with discs, for $28 plus tax.

That angle grinder is the way to go.

Yes you are. Early in my wrenching years I tried techniques like that. Sometimes they work but more often then not if you stripped it with the right tool its too tight to get out with anything but a universal tool (hammer grinder cut off wheel etc)
