Exclamation Help!!! Doing a lift right now, have question!!

Hey guys, liftin my baby (2000XJ) and the new front shocks (not springs) came with a crush sleeve. What the heck is this for? I have a washer, bushing, shock tower, bushing, washer, then nut. What the heck is this crush sleeve for?????!!

is it the sleeve that runs inside the bottom eye bushing so there the blot has no slop? Like so it just fits right inside. Thats all I can think of with out any pics.
