^This, Back in the 80s AMC made a big deal about how much stronger the uni-frame of the Comanche (an XJ Cherokee based Pickup if you aren't familiar with them) was than the body-on-frame Ranger, S10, and Toyota Truck (the "Tacoma" name did not exist yet) and how it had higher payload and tow ratings.
The XJ can take quite a bit even in stock form and a lot more with stiffeners. Any stress enough to break/bend a properly stiffened uni-fame would also likely break/bend even the strongest full-frames.

You're really way too worried about it. Unless you're doing some rock bouncing, desert racing, or try to pull somebody out/get pulled out too hard then you will not make the unibody give out.

X2, unless you're a hardcore crazy offroader, or you abuse/mistreat it, the unibody should be fine.

Hey man, I can hardly sleep at night knowing that my driveway is made of rocks, it could hurt my tires...

Why do you just automatically assume the frame is going to "give out"? How do you function being this pessimistic? I have a buddy with a 91 Cherokee 4 door, lifted 4.5", 33s, and nothing done to the frame at all. He wheels it almost every weekend, rock crawling, major offroading, no problems at all.

If someone has too convince you to buy one DON'T..........BUY SOMETHING ELSE! Then you will have only yourself to blame if something goes wrong.
Hell you can buy something brand new and have it throw CRAPS!
