Default help with cherokee

Im about to buy a new cherokee and would like to run a 33 inch tall tire. Am I going to have any issues with the stock dana 35 in the rear? is it really needed to have the 8.25 or the 44?

Thanks,
Zeppfan3

thats gonna be up to you, youre gonna hear opinions both ways, some say they run 35s no problem others say they broke theirs on 30s, my opinion is if you have any doubt change it.

i agree now i run 33 mtxs and i wheel it and haven't had a prob but like anything that gets age and abuse on it it will break eventually the 8.25 and the 44 just wont break no were as easy as the 35 at least that's what im told like i said i haven't had a prob yet if you dont plan on doing any hard offroading or climbing you should be fine but if you have the means to upgrade than i would so so i will be doing that at some point just don't feel the need at the moment

well then that answers your question.

go for it, and if you want/must later, swap in something bigger.

all the opinions of the 35 breaking are directly correlated to how hard you wheel. so if you wheel pretty hard, switch it out.
