Default Lift for New Tires Question...

Looking to put 30X9.5R15 tires on a stock 1998 XJ.

I was looking at the Daystar 1-3/4" Suspension Coil Spring Spacer Kit that comes with front coil spacer and rear shackles.

Also (2) sets of Teraflex Bar pin eliminators for stock shocks for front and rear.

Has anyone ran this lift?

Is the 1.75" lift going to have enough clearance for that size tire without rubbing?

Jeep is a DD with some offroading on the weekends.

Thanks in Advance.

I have the Day spacers on mine, the guy said they were 3in but they dont look that big. I have 32s but easily fit 33s and could do 35s but not enough flex. But I have alot of trimming done.

1.75" is plenty of lift for the tires, 30" will fit stock. The rubbing you will get from them will be on the lower control arms. Lifting will not fix this, new arms or less rim backspacing will.

So are you saying that the new tires will rub if I don't get new control arms?

Also, in this setup will I need to invest in new shocks or can I just add bpe to the existing stock shocks?

I ran 30"s stock with NO rubbing... and new shocks should not be needed with only 1.75" lift.. unless you really flex it out and risk bottoming out the shocks.

Some get rubbing with 30" some don't. I have rubbing on the Control arms with 30" and 31" tires. The rubbing only happens when at near full lock on the steering.
