Default Help with blower control switch

Ok my blower control switch is fried, melted, junk... I ordered one online but it won't be here till January! Question I have is can I connect 2 of 4 wires the plug into the blower control switch together the make it run at a set speed all the time as a temporary fix until my new switch gets in? Thinking if I connect 2 with a fuse in the middle it should work. But you guys are smarter than me!

Probably simplest to jumper it on high, but you could choose any position in the resistor pack.

I really need to learn how to read those diagrams! I can tear an engine apart but electrical I'm dumbfounded over.. I got it to turn on low. There is a very fine spot between low and medium, is I have the switch there it will turn on.

See the switch? It has HI, H2, H1 and LO positions? On the left is the wiper. Looks like an arrow. That's the part that turns when you turn the ****.
That wiper is attached to the YL/BR (yellow with brown) wire. You can jumper that wire to one of the 3 others, depending on what speed you want.
For medium/low use the TN (tan) wire. Medium/high is LB (light blue). High is (DG), dark green.
