HELP!!!bad clunk in rear

Unhappy HELP!!!bad clunk in rear

hello everyone I have a 1995 xj that I put a 4.5" RC lift in and I don't know why but any little bump or if the jeep flexes a little I get a real bad clunk in the rear if any one know what could be the cause of this please help me it really annoying to hear andvi also have a real annoying creeking sound in the front when I'm stopped and turn the wheel back and fourth or goingvreal slow and cut the wheel I checked the whole front suspention and nothing seems to be lose I had a 3" RC lift before the 4.5" and with the 3" lift it didn't seem to make these noises it's very annoying to listen to please help!! thanks guys

Details? You have a 95 cherokee with????


When you lifted did you do a TC drop or SYE kit?

what kind of details ?? and Yes the 4.5" lift came with the TC drop and the sye no it sounds like it comes from the rear suspetion of the jeep

Did you check the u-joints? Mine clunks in the rear bc my shackle bushings are shot.

u joints r those the shackles? I checked them when I did the lift they didn't look bad the angle changed and they barley went on but RC sells shackles but they say I would get 2" out of them witch means the jeep wouldn't be level if I do use them sobwhat kind of shackles should I use if this would be the problem

U-joints are on the driveshaft, If they are bad they could cause a clunking noise. So far as the shackles go I was just stating why mine clunks. If the bushings look cracked and dry rotted they might need to be replaced.
