Noticing Vibration Under Acceleration
So I'm not sure if its always been their, but I seem to be noticing it more now for some reason. While accelerating there is a vibration, let go of the gas and its nice and smooth.
I know my motor mounts are shot and thats coming real soon, but is this something else? Its not lifted or anything as I know vibration can come from lifts without a sye or t-case drop.
I'm wondering if its anything major cause I'm about to drive 300 miles to cali and back, this jeep has been a almost DD driver though and has been fine. Should it be ok?

for motor mounts pop open your hood and start it up. than hit the gas and inspect the mounts and pay attention to the amount of shift they have

Accelerating pushes the pinion up a bit. It could be your DS u-joints, which are cheap and easy to replace. Overall, make sure your rear suspension isn't totally worn out somewhere. With a stock u-joint shaft, the rear pinion should be pointed just above level, parallel with the t-case output; blocks with a taper or lift shackles might cause the angle to be too high.

well im down in cali and this didnt cause any problems yet, although I had an over heating problem... thread on that in a second. my rear suspension IS totally worn out, and I DID notice the vibration more right when I had a bunch of camping stuff loaded up in the back. I was also under the car and rocked the wheels back and fourth and noticed alot of slop in the DS ujoint. So I think its a combination of the things... Ill be getting a new DS ujoint soon as I have seen them break before and its not pretty.
