what parts could i use on my 90 cherokee limited from a 99 cherokee limited. im wondering things like wheels motor t case brake system tranny interior and what ever else from enything to everything
It depends on difference in differentials and the overall style of the Cherokee. if it's a country, or limited, or classic, or sport. The frame, engine, and tranny will fit but they made some a lot of changes to the body and interior between 90 and 99 so I wouldn't bet on getting much cosmetic stuff from a 99. If it was me tryin to part out a 99 XJ for a 90XJ I wouldn't bother. There are probably too many small differences you wouldn't notice until you tried to sway parts. Good Luck.

You can't say that the frame will swap over because there is no "frame". The XJ is a unibody vehicle.
The trim levels, ie. country, limited, classic, sport, only affect the options such as power windows, doors, seats, and so forth.
The parts that are interchangeable: the entire front clip (as long as you use the 99 fenders with the header panel to keep the front body lines correct, the entire suspension and steering system, both front and rear axles, windshield, wheels, and engine block.
The heads are different as the 90 is a Renix and the 99 is a H.O.
The doors have different hinges and striker plates.
The rear hatch on the 90 id fiberglass, the 97-01s are steel and have different hinges and mounting.
The front seats have different bases and tracks.

I would ****** that up in a heartbeat. You can use whatever will fit your 90, part the rest out and still make a profit. If it has the 8.25 rear axle it would be a very good upgrade for you and it is a direct bolt in swap.
It's pretty much poop on swapping parts from a ZJ to a XJ. Basically the engine block is all I know of that will interchange. The rear axle on the ZJ is coil spring and the XJ is leaf spring. Body is of course completely different as is the interior. You might still be able to salvage enough parts for resell to make a small profit, but not sure it would be worth the effort with the shape that one is in.

Yes being a grand cherokee makes a big difference there 2 different vehicles and that also reduces alot of the stuff you can use since no body parts will fit and also the rear asle use's coil springs instead of the rear leaf springs.
If it has a 4.0 instead of the v8 then i would grap it you can still use the engine to swap over to a HO or just use other parts from it along with the transfercase if it's the same as what you have.
Also you might be able to use the rear axle to do a rear coil swap over but not sure whats involed in it but being that its not a xj that does limit alot more options.

There would be a lot of modification involved and it would only be beneficial if it was a trail only vehicle to gain more flex in the rear. I can't see the need to swap to rear coils on a street vehicle or one that only sees occasional trail use.
