Default help on a 99 jeep cherokee xj

i lifted my xj 4.5 inchs. i bought the rough country add aleaf kit. i installed it and it moved my axle over to the left and inch and a quarter. so i lenthened the traction bar and it moved it over about and inch. so the arms are still crooked. and i went and got an alignment and my tires balanced. i drove down the road and hit some small bumps and the hole truck started shaking . i have had 3 balancing and 2 alignments already need help. any ideas how to fix it.

welcome to the forum and you have death wobble. i would look for worn bushings track bar lose bad steering dampener and if the track bar does not have the ability to align the axle i would consider getting a new one that does

Be prepared though, DW can be very hard to track down. Check for ANY play in steering components too. Get under it and have someone move the steering wheel back and forth, look at your tie rod ends, and all the bushings and links. Also check for bent tie rods etc. I would wait to replace the steering stabilizer until you've got the death wobble fixed.

You may also want to check the hub assy.(unit bearings).
