Help! 94 XJ High Beam trouble
Hey guys,
I have a 94 model XJ Cherokee and the high beams are not working.
I have the steering wheel off and the problem seems to be that the ROD that goes back in the steering wheel column has broke off from the combination switch, so when the switch is pulled back towards you it no longer presses the rod to activate high/low beams.
I assume that a connecting part has broken off from between the rod and lever, does anyone have any scematics as to what this part looks like or any idea on how to fix it?

Your description is not very clear, but you can usually repair this by replacing the combination switch (99% of the time). If so search "GM steering column rebuild" here and on youtube, tons of info.
