CEL is blinking... what does it mean

Does it blink all the time or just a little once you first start the truck?

What year is the truck?

If its OBD II, 96+, then you can swing by an auto parts store to get your codes run. Then post the codes here and we'll give you answers.

It only brinks for a minute once the truck is warmed up. It's a 2k and I had it checked before and I got p0174 but that was with no blinking

ok according haynes man. p0174 fuel system 2/1 lean a lean air/fuel mixture has been indicated by an abnormally lean correction factor. Not mechanic maybe TJwalker will chime in to decifer hope it helps

It could be a bad o2 sensor.

So the light doesn't stay on, it literally blinks like a blinker?

Probably an o2 sensor, maybe the rear.

Ok cool, and its running super rich.. the driveway behind my truck is covered in whatever my exhaust is spraying out and smells strong like fuel

Thats for sure a bad o2 sensor. Probably the one closer to the motor, not the one after the cat.

Just had the autozone guy plug his little comp to the jeep and he said misfire on cylinders 4, 5 and 6...

I just bought the jeep... I have plugs.. ill install soon. I probably should do the cap and motor
