Help
I'm having trouble finding the cruise control servo on a 2000 model xj. I've looked under the battery, trace out the line coming from the ball under the battery. It just goes into the cab? I bought the manual but it does not tell the location of it on the 2000 model. Coming from the throttle, one cable goes to the gas pedal and the other is for the passing gear. I'm drawing a blank about where it could be
. Any help would be awsome.

On my 00 it sits on the passenger side behind the fuse box and battery. Right in front of the HVAC system...but mine is a manual trans.

If you don't have a cable at the throttle body, then you don't have cruise. Either someone has removed it, or installed a steering wheel from a vehicle with cruise onto your non-cruise equipped vehicle. IMO
Call a dealer w/your VIN # and they can tell you all the options your vehicle came with when built.
