ok the down stream oxygen sensor isnt plugged in either could that becausing some of my problems

Could be. I know in alot of vehicles a faulty o2 can put the vehicle in a "limp mode."

ok i will get that fixed and then see what i can do. im gonna test the volts on the tps and try that also

i think its bogging down cause i idled it down to low

the tps in my 89 was adjustable by the 2 mounting screws it should have slots on it to turn the whole tps you have to meter it while doing it and check the specs on what voltage its suppost to be it will change voltage by turning the tps and yes mine had the same issue would not shift intill 4200rpms though i just looked at the one for that year doesnt look like its adjustable but i might be wrong is this what it looks like?

this one doesnt have slots to adjust it just had two holes on each side of it

oh, i think about 800 or so warm sounds about right.

its working fine now. i guess the computer adjusted it to where it sound be i guess
