HELP! Am sole original owner of my 2001 jeep cherokee classic-232k miles. No fog lights or other add-ons installed, fuses all fine. When i drive for about 10 mins. headlights start to go on and off-the dash light that shows high beam also goes on n off so i know when happens but in dark ez to tell! any help? please!For explorers have totalled it but straight 6 60 yr. anniversary special edition-last one made, best vehicle ever and want to keep it but need to drive it at night!

 

Sounds like you headlight switch is over heating and going bad. Make sure to check the wire harness too. If it's getting really hot more then likely it's melting also.
