You you can remove that stud a few ways. Can you two nuts or vise grips or even weld something to the tip to allow you to back it out. Also plenty of hear.

Use the nuts from both studs and thread them onto a single stud. Use 2 wrenches to tighten the nuts against each other and then use the nut on top to turn the stud out.

Put two nuts on the stud and tighten them together, you should then be able to wrench on the top nut and the force between the two should turn the stud out.

They way that worked best for me is as follows:
Get a angle grinder with a grinding wheel. Grind down the stud flat on two sides. Get a large adjustable wrench and it should twist right out. Of course ALOT of PB blaster and heat will also help things along. You can first try a large channel locks or pipe wrench. I used a channel locks on one of the studs on my truck and it came out like butter. The other one not so much, but the grinding trick worked like a charm for me.

I would try the 2 nuts or you can just spray it with pb blaster and then use some vise grips and grab it as tight as you can and twist it off.

As many times as I have used 2 nuts to remove a stud, it didn't even cross my mind when I did my tcase drop. Noooo, I had to be dumb and pay $20 for a stud remover tool, lesson learned

2 nuts did not work for me, I had to remove my studs with a pipe wrench, a pipe wrench will give you a lot more bite than a vice grip will, but you gotta go slow because you don't want to snap them! I had to drill out one of my bolts (not stud) and heli coil it. it is a 10x1.5 just in case you need to do that.

You could start by not installing a t-case drop. I used to think dropping the t-case an inch was alright. I wheeled mine with a t-case drop that the PO installed over the weekend and I was afraid I was gonna slam the t-case and bust it on a rock like 89eliminator did.
