Default Heavy Duty Leaf Springs?

I'm sure I could read 100's of posts to find this answer but I'm hoping someone will be kind enough to forgive my new thread. I want to replace my sagging original leaf springs on a 98 cherokee sport 4.0 4WD. If I use the up country HD leaf springs from quadratec, will I need to use spacers on the front to get the jeep to sit level? Will the ride be noticeably different doing it with or without front spacers? I am not really looking to do a lift but if this resulted in slight lift I would not complain. If I need spacers on the front, where do they go? Coil spring? Shocks? Thanks.

If you are level now I would assume the back would set higher with HD rear leafs.
Front spacers go on top of the coils. You need a GOOD spring compressor to do it safely.

It does not sit level now because the leaf springs are old and the back end sags.

You don't want it level it is supposed to have a slight rake to help with airflow .

What do you mean by that? A little lower on the back? I read somewhere that stock, the back end is about 1/2 inch lower than front.

I just went through this. I bailed on quadratech because they took my order and neglected to tell me that my leaf springs were not in stock and it would take a month to get them. I went to amazon and ordered the Dorman 929-301 leaf spring. They fit perfectly and feel great. Got them in 3 days. I too have the upcountry package. If you do not have the UC package, you will get a 1/2 lift in the rear but don't worry about it. It is hardly noticeable and will ride fine. Plus, as stated above, it MAY improve airflow...

You won't notice that little of a difference in rear end height. I have 2" lift in the front and. 2.5" in the back I can't tell. And figure they'll sag some overtime anyway

Did the Dorman leaf springs from Amazon come with bushings and bolts? It is pictured with bushings.

Get grade 8 bolts at ACE hardware. It will cost you about $30.

autosurgeon is correct. comes with bushings but not bolts. i just soaked mine in PB blaster and they came out...eventually. But it may be wise to have an extra set of bolts handy just in case.

Do you guys think the dormans could take 1inch lift shackles without sagging over time? Or would I be better off going with OME 2 inch leaf packs (if they even still exist...?)
