Hi there,
I'm looking to upgrade the stock leaf springs on my '99 4x4 4 door XJ, C8.25.
Main reason I'd like to upgrade my leaf springs is to get rid of the sag when I haul a couple of dirtbikes on my trailer. I also use a hitch carrier when I'm by myself and there is noticeable sag in the rear when I do this. This causes a light front end feel, and steering is not as responsive.
So, my question is, are there any HD left spring kits that I can get that won't raise the rear end too much? If not, what do I need to get to raise the front to match? Would this require new springs for the front as well?
I wouldn't mind a little bit of a lift, but really don't want to spend the money if I don't have to. I'm mainly looking for stiffer springs in the rear to handle some extra weight occasionally.
Anything else I should replace while I'm doing the springs as well?
Any advice will be appreciated.
Thanks!

You want a military wrapped spring.
These are for MJ's so they may or not work, I know people use MJ springs in bastard packs but idk about bolting up.
But you should look for springs like these, theyre better than most leaf packs because they rap around the 'eyes'

The Dorman springs are VERY good. Ive got 30K with a full load of tools in back. No sagging at all. I think the were 91 each plus shipping from Rock. Advance is not much more.
