OP: Thanks for the more straight on view. I guess the angle of the camera in #34 made the temp look higher than it should.

Fan should have some resistance to spinning, even when cold. You can make it turn, but not very far.

The lockup mode is a function of both temperature and RPM. If it is locked in, you will hear a noticeable amount of fan noise/roar as it tries to pull more air through the radiator.

Six pages and all that's been done is a radiator cap.

Uh, no. Both of those pics are showing the leak coming from the same place. The camera is turned in a different direction, but you can clearly see the edge of the oil pan next to the top of the leak in both pics. That leak is coming from the engine end of that hose.

If there's any question whether the water pump is leaking, it's a fairly easy matter to get under there, wipe the coolant off the hose, tighten the clamp and see if the drip comes back. I suspect it will. The clamps don't actually need to be that tight on these engines. Mine has spring clamps instead of screw clamps, and they work just fine despite being almost 15 years old.

Ok, I gotta wait until I get paid next week. I'll start working on it on Friday. Any videos for my 1994 Jeep Cherokee Sport 4.0L would be helpful.

Also, please name best parts please...

I like Napa and O'Reilly's for parts.

No Autozone for me.

What about Advance Auto? I have a good one near by. The O'Reillly near me stinks.

What brand, what warranty? Mid level, what...please elaborate.

I stand corrected ...Fan clutch ,water pump and might as well do the hose . I plead temporary senility fro 14 hour work days.

New only. At least mid-level.

We don't have Advanced where I live.

I start to seriously doubt this by now.
Its probably because of your name that some members here display more than average patience which is great. But at some point please start on the job because this is getting silly...
