Heater works sometimes
the plug and wires under the hood passenger side on firewall thats where the blower motor is. the plug on mine is messed up so it shuts off here and there and i just wiggle the plug and it starts again
The plugs are fine when i unplug it stops. It wont blow hot air and i have a bad radiator hose so i need the heat to keep from over heating

No. The thermostat only controls the passage of water through the engine. It opens when the water temperature gets to 195 degrees. The heater hoses connect independent of the thermostat and will not blow hot through the heater if there is no hot water running through the heater core.

I just fixed my A/C heater setup the other day. On mine one of the plugs on the back of the actual unit in the dash had one of the plugs bent, and it would disconnect sometimes. Just something to try, it fixed mine and now it works all the time without fail
I had same the issue on my 2001. It seemed when turning left the fan would reduce and had power on right turns. Was told it is the blower motor being orig had worn bushings in the motor so the weight of the fan inside the blower unit was rubbing. Have not fixed yet.
