Heater problems
I own a 98 Cherokee and winter is approaching. I just bought the jeep a few months ago and just last week i did a complete radiator flush. Here's my problem i have cold air, but i do not have heat. I just replaced the thermostat when i flushed the radiator, any idea what could be the problem?
Also if it matters i have a temperature ****.

is it slightly warm on heat? your heater core may be clogged to hell. I know mine was. I flushed it once and then the second time I put vinagar in the heater core let it sit for 10 minutes and then blew it out with water and the aircompressor. dark orange crap came out and my heat works 100 times better.

just to ask do u have one of these (in link) that connect to 4 hoses. 2 to the heater core and 1 to the thermostat housing and 1 to the water pump.
if so this is the issue that i had last winter. b.c it was clogged by a piece from the valve itself or something in the coolant system itself and flushing it doesn't help at all.

That's why it's best to eliminate the heater control valve on XJs up through 1996. They clog, leak, restrict, explode, and other not so nice things. And never at the right time.
97 and later have no valves.
