Nothing works!!! It was working yesterday, today nothing! I replaced the capacitor last winter. Second fan control switch last week. Selector control last spring. But now nothing, nothing from the fan at all. Ideas?

Fuses: good
Motor: runs when jumped
Resistor: looks good
Fan speed switch: just replaced
Heater controls: seems good
Can I jump between two terminals on the fan speed switch to check for an issue there? If the heater control selector switch is dead the fan will not operate either correct?
Need to figure this out, the sun is getting low in the sky and it's a bit chilly out there...

If I'm correct, the resistor would still allow the motor to operate at full speed. So that leaves the fan speed switch and heater function control. If jumping the speed selector wires merit no results than the function control is the fault... Yea? Nea?
I have the same issues as you and what I have found is when jeep is running I pop the hood and shake the housing of the blower motor and is starts working. I'm not to sure if this is a grounding problem or not. But seems to work on my 97...And Hell yes is -20F here in the AK. I don't feel like fixing the problem.

what part of the wiring did you have to replace? im having the same problem you did and the motor works when jumped, brand new resistor, the switches are fine (nothing melted). im thinking its a loose plug or something but im not sure. im about to set the turn on fire to get heat while i drive!!!!
