Default Heater core-standard fit?

Hi all,a quick question regarding heater core.My heater core is shot and needs replacing.I have a 1995 xj manual 2.5 petrol and need to make sure I buy the correct heater core....are they a standard fit for that year or is there a difference between the 2.5l and 4l? Also, importantly, are the heater cores for right hand drives the same as for left hand drives? If I can't get one here in the UK,will need to order one from Ebay USA....don't want to do that and find it only fits a left hand drive!! Am wary when ordering as I found out when trying to get a replacement oil pressure switch....what the computer came up with when my car registration was entered was nothing like the switch I actually needed...and have never found out why!!
Thanks in advance....
