Default Heater Core Bypass - with pics and part #'s

There's been alot of talk recently about heater cores leaking, mine was smelling and fogging the windshield, so decided to bypass mine. I couldn't find a good parts list so will list here the parts that worked for me. I followed the instructions from BleepinJeeps YouTube video so look there for video instruction.

First of all, I cut the hoses (note, they're different diameter) along the valve cover just past the plastic hose holder (per the video), used a plastic tubin cutter that you can find in any hardware store or home center. Cheap, sharp as hell, nice clean square cuts.
Next, the 180 degree loop I installed was from ICT Billet, part # 551699, is actually a heater core bypass loop for an LS1 motor but worked perfectly for my application. Note, that bypass hose has different size ends, is 3/4" on one end and 5/8 inch on the other.
Connected the bypass loop to the existin heater hoses with two Dorman/Help heater hose connectors, parts # 47094 which was 5/8 x 5/8 and parts # 47095 which was 3/4 x 3/4. they fit the bypass hose and the Jeep heater hoses perfectly.
I clamped it all together with four size 12 clamps.
Took it for a 250 mile road trip the next day, no leaks, no problems.

Costs: I bought my bypass loop on eBay right from ICT Billet, was $15 including shipping. I'm pretty sure you can get it thru Summit Racing as well.
I found the Dorman hose connectors locally at auto parts stores but they were $5ish each. I ordered mine thru RockAuto online for aprox $2 each. While I was at it, I bought a Fel-Pro throttle body gasket at the same time for $1.32 whole bill with shippin was just over $8.
The clamps are cheap, buy the best ones you can get your hands on.
