Going to flush my heater core but i wasnt sure if i had to flush the rest of the coolant system that curently has coolant that is three days old and these damn tanks take a lot of coolant lol

If you are sure that the rest of the cooling system in clean you can just flush the heater core. You will lose some coolant but not a whole lot. So you won't lose to much you can always put a couple of vise gripes on the heater core hoses. When you flush the core make sure to flush it several time in both direction. On one of my other XJ's I had to flush it ten time to get it cleaned. Once you think it's clean flush it a few more time.
