Default Heater Control Valve

93 XJ 4.0

Heater Control Valve is leaking. Anyone ever used the one at RockAuto? Looks like all plastic.

No. not at all. Ditch that piece of crap and plug it's vacuum line. The heat in the cabin is controlled by a blend air door. I run 3 Jeeps in Arizona with no HCV. Air blows cool and there is no extra heat in the cabin.

^^DO THIS!!^^
Don't waste you money replacing it. Just by pass it and won't have to ever worry about that cheap piece of plastic leaking again. Buying a new one is just a waste of money. Just remember that the later model never came with them. The manufacturer figured out that they are worthless too.
