Here's another pic you can look at showing the actuators.

I was mistaken in my post #9, where I described the tube locations and functions (I edited that post to show the correct colors and positions).

Yellow is full Defrost and Blue is mid position (Mix).

thanks again CCKen, I just went out and messed with it. I swapped two of my vacuum lines (yellow and brown) as they were backwards compared the picture you posted, so far that has fixed it.

Where did you swap them at?

How did you get at the actuators to swap the tubes around?

I reached up from the driver side and unplugged then re-plugged them in.

Remove the panel under the steering column. They are just to the right. I noticed the brown vacuum line is of mine. I'll fix it later this week. Thanks for this post. It helped me out a bunch

Doesn't make much sense to me because Brown is the floor actuator and Yellow is the defrost actuator, and you said when floor was selected it worked okay, now you're saying that since you swapped the Yellow with the Brown it fixed it (the original problem). ?

I guess if it works and you're happy then so be it.

The yellow was on the floor actuator and the brown was on the defrost when i was looking at it yesterday so i swapped them to look like the picture you posted. It doesn't make any sense to me either but that's what I did and it seems to be working.

How did the tubes get mixed up to begin with? Did you have the HVAC Unit out at some point, or did a previous owner do it?

I have no idea if it's ever been out I bought this out of a towing companies yard that I work for so I'm not sure what has been done to it
