Default heater

ok the heater works great on it if i have it for defrost the front window but when i put to vent or heater is not doing anything what could be the problem it is snowing so i need heat lol

Could be that the little bypass valve on the heater hose is closing. Could also be that the heater core is clogged due to that same bypass valve. Take the heater hoses apart by the heater core. Now take a garden hose and spray through one of the heater core openings until the water comes out clear. Then spray through the other one until again it's clear. Keep going back and forth until all you get is clear water coming out. Hook everything back up and away you go. This next part goes without saying, but I'll say it anyway. Make sure the engine is cool BEFORE you do any of this.

Another thing to try is if it is in fact the bypass valve you can turn it on defrost and look at where the valve is (open or closed), then change the heat setting and see if the valve changes. If it does you can always just disconnect and plug the vacuum line that goes to it, see if that does anything for ya.

yeah, i think it's vacuum related.
