hey guys.
new here, so apologies if this has been asked already. did a search, but couldn't find my answer.
So today I bought a 2003 cherokee 2.5 CRD sport. the seller tells me the fan doesn't blow at all. He tells me before it stopped working, it was working in certain switch positions only before it just totally died.
I pick the car up on monday, so can't check anything until then.
to me, it sounds like possibly just the switch, and/or transistor? I'm aware of the common problem of blend doors, but am I right in thinking that's just if it is only hot or cold?
Any help at this stage is most welcome, and could of course just be something simple!
thanks in advance

welcome European guy, in north america the cherokee ceased production in 2001, we had a replacement model call the liberty (wich is called a cherokee in europe) thats what you have.

you're problem is most likely the blower motor resistor.
unplug the heater blower motor, turn the heat on, check for power and ground, if it has power, but no ground, it's the resistor.
