I know. Just hate taking them off for the first time. I'm sure they will fit back on fine. Just always nervous something will break. I've had panels off my other jeeps several times. Just this was an unmolested one owner when we got it. Lol

Just get a new pack of door push pin clip things because one or two will break (cheap, like $5 on amazon). Or replace em all because they tend to wear out over time and start letting the panel rattle a bit.

Might as well put some sound deadening on the doors while you are on there. Even a little bit will help a tremendous amount.

To repeat what the guy above me just said, replacement clips are cheap and they're good to replace occasionally. If you need to do any other work such as speaker replacement/window regulators/wire fixing (heat shrinks on the speaker wire are known to snap due to crappy wire work from chrysler at the time) I'd do it along with the speakers so you don't have to take it on and off again any time soon. Panels have a few screws along the arm rest area of the panel, then you pop off the clips around the bottom U of the panel and then there are either 1 or 2 (might be 2 on mine just because it's a 2door and needs more support for the longer door) hard-cast tabs near the top that help it line up that the panel needs to swing out towards you to get past and then lift up to get it off the top hook near the window opening. Don't be too careful, a bit more force will pop the clips and won't harm the panel. Just be smart about it.

Napa. BK 665-3282. What I used when I replaced my drivers side window regulator knowing I would bust a couple when I removed the door panel in my '00. Cost you about $4 for 12.

What did you use for sound deadening behind the door panels?
