Heat and vaccume
My jeep was hit a short time ago and the body shop that gave the estimate pulled the front bumper and left the vaccume line to the bottle un hooked.
My defrost/heat fells like its always on now, I put a screw in the line that goes to the dash. Will this hurt anything ?
Merry Christmas to all

You need vacuum applied to that line that goes to the dash, that's what operates the HVAC system. It defaults to defrost when it loses vacuum. If the parts are all intact, just plug the line back in.

Thats my plan I need to replace the bumper but have not had the time to do it yet. I just wanted to know if it's alright to have the line blocked until I have a chance to fix it right.
