Heat soak / Misfire issue
So I heard something last year about the heat from the exhaust manifold causing the fuel in the injectors to evaporate, (causing a cylinder 3 misfire, and code, when the motor was started when heat soaked) so I did the wrap the injectors in thermal tape fix, and that seemed to work.
Recently, it started to happen again. When I start the motor after its been running for a while before that, the temp jumps above 210 and seems to misfire, only this time it isn't throwing any codes, no MIL
Is this a different issue? I want to sort this out before I try to drive it from Alabama to NJ in 2 weeks.

Make sure the engine isn't actually overheating. Get an Ir thermometer and aim at the thermostat housing when the engine is misfiring. The sending unit for the temp gauge could be bad and reading low while the engine is burning up.
