Default heat not working

I have an 89 cherokee and my heat don't seem to be working I Can only feel a small amount coming from the vent that defrost the windshield. What could this be

Check all your vacuum lines especially the one running under your battery box. This is often the problem. The blend doors operate on vacuum and if you have some heat but not much this is probably the problem. Assuming your blower motor is working that is.

follow your vac lines from your black vac accumulation ball that's bolted to the back of your front bumper, passenger side.

that ball is no longer there, the po removed it when he added the custom bumper and he took a metal coffee can and made a canister out of that and the vac line runs into that under the hood

well, i would start there. it seems to be leaking somewhere, either the can, or the plastic line may be split.

all lines are new and still no heat. all parts stores said they have nothing for a resistor for an 89
