heat in the floor
I have a 2012 jeep cherokee. The air is hot coming out of the vents in the center and defroster. There is no hot air coming out on the floor. on driver or passenger sides. Carmax said it was heater core problem. It was flushed last year when heater didn't work on floor. Should I try to flush again or is it something else?

Unless they did something crazy with the heater core on the Liberty, I would think a clogged heater core would result in no heat anywhere.
Is there air coming out of the floor at all? If you are not getting any air coming out, then I would think the air is just not being directed to the floor once selected. If you are getting cold air on the floor, and hot air everywhere else I would think you have a blend door issue.
Beyond that, you may want to look into a Liberty forum as the information here is going to be Cherokee related.

driver side heater problem.
Thanks for the reply. It has heat on all three levels on the passenger side. Three levels being floor, vents and defroster. It just blows colder air on the driver side. Sorry if I'm in the wrong forum. I'm a newbie here. From what I've read it is sounding like a blender door problem. Now I just have to find out how to replace/repair the blender door or actuator.
Thanks again.
Thanks again.
