Heat in the cabin??!
Hi everyone!
I have a 1991 Jeep Cherokee Sport and inside the cabin as in where the shifter is at and where the ashtray is at, (under the radio), it gets pretty hot and you can feel the heat as you are driving it. Only or mostly this happens while driving on the highway. With normal temperature on the gauge too. Is this normal? Do all Jeeps/cars do this? Thanks

Do you have any switches down there? Factory foglights? Rear wiper? Rear Defrost?
If so,, I'd pull them out and check to make sure they aren't going bad. The contacts could be corroded and what not and that could be for a very bad time if they get too hot and...you figure out the rest..
