Whats up guys/gals? Ok so the problem I'm having is the heat blows the fuse the instant i slide it from the off position. But if i start the truck with the heat in the vent/heat position it works completely normal, all the fan speeds work and it blows for days... BUT the second i move it from the vent/heat position BOOM GOES THE FUSE. PLEASE HELP, New blower motor and resistor just installed last night, no burnt plud near resistor or as far as i can see. THANK YOU IN ADVANCE.

Hey there buddy, I'm assuming the fuse that is blowing is number 5? The one for the blower motor. It should be a 30 amp fuse in that slot, maybe it was swapped at some point. If you put a test light across the fuse terminals while the heater is off does the test light come on? If so, short to ground, also maybe maybe high resistance in the harness. High resistance with the normal loads will easily blow a fuse. Good luck buddy.

What's up. The fuse is 30amp, I haven't tested with a light yet. I'm not to electronic savvy, but will give it a shot
