Long story short, I bought 2000 Jeep Cherokee Sport, to learn about mechanics. I am a desk jockey, but like to off-road here in the Mojave Desert.

I get stumped pretty easily on the electrical side of the house and haven’t found anything online on how to fix this issue, or where to look.

When my headlights are on, and I turn my right blinker on, both of my headlights shut off until the blinker is off. I have replaced the headlight switch, but that did not work. I am interested on ideas on what the problem is, but would really appreciate troubleshooting methods too, for my knowledge. Thanks!
